Carrying the everyday.
For mothers balancing parenting, work, bills, and everything in between, often without enough support.
For the mama doing it on her own. For the mama starting over. For the mama finding her footing again. We’re building Dear Mama for you.
Our mission is to help mothers feel seen, supported, and equipped to move forward—with dignity, meaningful connections, and practical resources.
For mothers balancing parenting, work, bills, and everything in between, often without enough support.
For mothers newly parenting alone and navigating the uncertainty, responsibilities, and emotions that come with change.
For mothers affected by domestic violence who deserve respect, choice, and connections to appropriate support.
We’re in the foundation-building stage. These priorities guide the programs and partnerships we are working to develop.
Welcoming opportunities for mothers to connect, share encouragement, and feel less alone.
Connections to community resources and qualified organizations that can help address everyday needs and difficult transitions.
Future learning and support opportunities centered on confidence, life skills, and greater stability.
Programs are not yet open for enrollment. Dear Mama does not currently operate a shelter or emergency response service.
Dear Mama began with Jonathan Burke’s gratitude for the mother who helped him through life. Her love and sacrifices shaped a conviction: the women who give so much deserve a community that gives back.
We’re turning gratitude into action, so more mothers have someone in their corner.
The Dear Mama podcast shares the stories. This separate nonprofit initiative is being built to carry that care into the community.
